Book Club

Imagine this…. You’re part of a book club! It’s time to pick your next book for everyone to read. You pick In Borrowed Shoes, read it and when you get together, you invite the author (that would be me) to join you for the discussion and to read some of the stories in the book to your group. Some of the stories that you all pick.

In Borrowed Shoes is a book full of a vast array of stories that speak to the challenges, losses, joys, adventures of the human spirit. The book was written to inspire YOU to remember your stories and to open doors to talking about real things between friends, family members and communities.

 

Special Gatherings

Or, imagine this. You’re hosting a special celebration for your friend who’s turning one of the “0” numbers! Or you’re hosting a holiday gathering. 

You want to bring meaning and depth to the conversations. And you want to do it with flair, but on the down-lo. You invite me to ZOOM into your gathering to read some stories from In Borrowed Shoes to stir the pot of conversation and reflect a bit on life and some of its dilemmas.

I happily answer questions or share about the writing process and how and why this book came into being.

How does it work, and what does it cost?

  • First, we discuss your vision.

  • Second, we pick the date.

  • Third, you invite your friends or book club people to purchase the book. (Minimum of 10 people)

  • There is no fee for me to show up, simply a minimum number of 10 people purchasing the book.
